In order to see the different companies heavily involved with the thriller genre, I used IMDb to look at the production companies of the top 10 highest rated thriller films.

2- Wellington films
3- Mindworks Media
4- A Shirwad Cinemas
5- 14 Reels Entertainment
6- Warner Bros.
7- Mirimax Films
8- The Steam Motion and Sound
9- Warner Bros.
10- Creathma Productions
As you can see from the results of my research, the major companies involved are very varied and there isn't one major company dominating. This is due to Thrillers being popular films with the audience and companies want to produce films people will go and see so its a genre a lot of companies are interested in.
This has changed drastically from the past as before the film industry developed, there would be one production company dominating each genre.
Recently there has been a change in the thriller genre due to industrial franchises, for example James Bond. They have almost become their own small sub-genre within the large thriller industry.
